Mary Dickinson Edwards: Mary's varied career began in junior high school when she decided to pursue a journalism career because she liked writing better than algebra and blood made her queasy. She went on to earn a degree in communications from California State University Fullerton where she graduated cum laude. She's worked for daily and weekly newspapers as a reporter, editor and copy editor. For five years, she operated a Unix book publishing company , doing everything from copywriting to managing printing to selling books to clients throughout the world. A three-year stint in Germany led to teaching English and editing documents written by non-native English speakers. Mary has a passion for the written word and an antipathy for errors. Brian J. Also a Cal State Fullerton grad, Brian's worked in newspapers, high tech trade publications, public relations and marketing. He opened Waggener Edstrom's first overseas office in Heidelberg, Germany, where he hired and managed an international staff of eight for three years. Brian's fluent in German and the language of computers, cars and virtually anything with an engine or chip. |
